yo I'm making a cool turret game, with around 85 turrets!!! (note: that is not a limit, it is an estimate. At the moment I have exactly 81 turrets created, and am always looking for new ideas).
It's gonna be awesome, but I need your help! Have an idea for a cool turret? Post your idea in this thread, or this news post I suppose, and I will reply as soon as possible.

I expect unique, and well thought-out creations.
In addition, if I decide to use your creation, your name will be in the credits, crediting your contribution to the specific turret you created.

Game's launch is unkown, but will take awhile.
Seen in the picture below is the 'prism tower' (yes, i took it from RA2, stop whining).

Each turret will have a description, along with its starts (damage, range, reload time, or any other stat that is unique to the turret (ex. splash radius, splash damage, etc.)

it's not confusing at all actually. But there will be a lot of turrets to choose from.
A development tree will be available (shows the turrets, and how they can be purchased. for example to obtain the mini-nuke turret shown in the picture, this is the order:

basic turret -> missile launcher -> triple missile launcher -> bazooka missile launcher -> home-seeking missile launcher -> home-seeking mini-nuke missile launcher.

And after that you can upgrade the mini-nuke missile launcher to an 'Adv. mini-nuke missile launcher'. Which is simply a cooler looking mini-nuke missile launcher with more damage, and more splash radius (size).

easy rite? ;-)

sir, are you suggesting my flash smells? B/c when I tried sniffing it, it seemed pretty odorless to me. In fact, I had no idea that files have smells. Do you have some kind of software that enables file smell? o.O

ps: those turrets that channel their beam trough other turrets (the group of 5 in the top) they remind me of Prism Turrets. are they?

pps: Crysis rules (Especially if you can play it on High setts with DX10 enabled). cant wait for Crysis: Warhead :D.
